This restaurant is the best in Colombian food. They have a great variety of dishes in the menu and the service is outstanding. I would highly recommend anyone who wants a real Colombian food dish to visit this place.

Still operating during NY Pause ban! Purchased takeout week of May 18-22nd!The owner, Carlos, took my order for a Picada and empanadas over the phone. When I arrived he was friendly and following best practices such as wearing a mask and keeping a safe distance when passing the food over the counter. I got home and noticed not only did he give the usual pink sauce and green salsa for the picada but also some sliced tomato and onions to complement the meats in the picada which was a hit with the family. All the casava and potatoes were crispy and the steak and chicharron were cooked well and rich in flavor. I ordered four empanadas as well that were generously stuffed and just as delicious as everything else. I got two chicken and two potato empanadas and got very filling and happy reactions from all my family. It felt great to switch it up at home and order out and especially rewarding to help out Carlos’s Pequeña Colombia during these uncertain times. I highly recommend the picada!!!

Cold food. Wrong order. Waiter forgot one of the orders keeping the other orders cold. Drinks were OK. Steak sauce ordered. It was confused with a creole sauce. $6 extra were charged for the sauce.

A pleasant surprise in Jackson Heights. Everything we ate from appetizer to soup to salad to meal was on point and absolutely amazing. The service was amazing we were service by Viviana she was wonderful and very accommodating. Our experience was absolutely amazing we left with full bellies and a desire to come back.

The food here is ok, and the portions are big. That's the positive.We came in as a family of four. We traveled a bit to get here, and although the restaurant was half empty, we were seated right next to the door. We noticed that the place was cold. The AC was cooler that it needed to be, which made our food get cold too quickly.First we asked for calamari. The plate arrived and was served without lemons. The blond waitress, who apparently was working the bar as well, went to get the lemons. It took about 20 minutes for the lemons to finally arrive, even though I'm certain that the bar that was 20 feet away had a few lemons. The plate wad already cold by that time. Sigh....The forks felt strange... gritty or worn, not quite sure, but definitely needed to be replaced. We did not even get water, as in most places.Will not be returning any time soon.

Visited la Pequeña Colombia for the "Hermanitas Calle" show in March 2020. The show was Amazing, the food was delicious, and the service was top notch. Highly recommended

Good food, very attentive staff. There are many good Colombian restaurants nearby, but the food at la Pequeña is fresh and tasty without being heavy or super salty.

One of the first Colombian restaurants in the Jackson Heights area. Use to live a block away from this restaurant in Elmhurst over 20 years ago, but I manage to come back every so often to get authentic Colombian food. One of the best Mountain Platter dishes I have ever had compared to others in the area. Appropriately named since there is a mountain of food to eat and reasonable priced!

Great place until today. My food was ice cold, by the time I got the food back It was just warm the steak was still cold. I decided to make the best of it and eat not to ruin my dinner. I asked fo a sauce and the waiter took so long the steak was too cold to eat. He brings a sauce and is a side dish. I told him I just wanted some sauce for the steak to please take it back he said he was going to charge me for the sauce even if he takes it back. I could not eat my food cold. Another waiter saw that u was not eating and I asked for the check. But I'm supposed to leave a tip right?

I love this restaurant. Waiters are so on point with everything. They greet you with respect. The food is out this world. Great place 😍

Great Colombian food with very generous portion sizes. The staff is super friendly and the place is well maintained and clean. One of the best Colombian restaurants I have visited. If i'm ever in the area again I will definitely stop by again.

Such a fantastic restaurant! I had my second date with my wife here 21 years ago and it is still just as delicious as it was then! If you never had Colombian food make this your first stop. It serves traditional dishes, wonderful Latin music fills the air and you can't beat the value! The dishes are huge, reasonably priced and so amazingly tasty! Do yourself a favor and go check it out!
